... Instrumental Lessons
I/my son/daughter/ has never played an instrument before. Does Rocksteady teach beginners?
Absolutely! In fact, 70% of all first time students at Rocksteady have never played an instrument before. We have several tried and tested beginners programmes that teach according to your age and interests. At this stage, we don't bog students down in technical material, it's all about finding your feet and building confidence.
I've been playing for a few years now and can play a few bits and pieces but I need help with the theory side of things. Does Rocksteady teach theory?
At Rocksteady, we believe in creating musicians and as such theory is an integral part of what we do. However, don't think we'll have you reciting dull scales or sight reading boring scores. Everything at Rocksteady is taught in relation to your instrument and your style! So if you're a metal guitarist and we teach you a new scale, you can be sure you'll be using it to write your own solo's straight away! This principal applies to all instruments across the board.
I'm 8/18/48/88, does Rocksteady teach students of my age?
Yes! Not only do we take students of all ages, we have teaching programmes to cover your age group to ensure you'll be getting the best value for your money.
When and where do these lessons take place?
