... Band Workshops

I'm a beginner or haven't been playing very long but I'm very keen to play in a band. Does the band workshop take beginners?

We ask as a minimum that all band workshop students are approximately grade 3 level. However, if you are bellow grade 3 level, you can still play along to tracks and learn band skills in our instrumental lessons which we will do from day one. If you are unsure as to whether you are a grade 3 or not, contact us and we'll be able to help you.

I've never played in a band before. Can I still come to band workshops?

Yes, most definitely. Band workshops are a great way to build confidence and band skills and we assume no prior knowledge of anything band related. 

I can play a few bits and pieces but I'm not very confident in my abilities. Is the band workshop for me?

We do not place any limit on the age of band workshop students. The typical age of most attending is between 12 and 16.

How many students will there be in a band workshop?

Due to staffing and space limitations, spaces on band workshops will be limited to twelve students and a maximum of four drummers. After which, you can join our waiting list for the next session.

When and where do these lessons take place?

This depends on where your nearest centre is. Typically, band workshops run on one night per week at selected centres. Each workshop runs for 10 weeks at a time and covers different material every time. Contact us for availability.

How much do lessons cost?

Band workshops cost  £15.05 per lesson for a full 1.5 hours. Payment is due monthly via a standing order.
